Workflow
Batch video downloader workflow on Mac
Downloading references one at a time is the slow part of research. This workflow takes a wall of links — across many sites — and turns it into a single organized download queue.
How the workflow works
Paste a wall of links
Drop in dozens of URLs at once, one per line, from across 1,000+ supported sites. Cromoteca detects every valid link and counts them.
Let playlists expand
Playlists and albums unfold into their individual items automatically, so a few links can become a full batch without extra work.
Pick one destination
Choose a single project folder. The whole batch lands there, named and sorted, instead of scattered across your Downloads.
Run the queue
Cromoteca downloads items one at a time at the best available quality, showing progress per item so you can step away and come back to a finished archive.
FAQ
How many links can I queue at once?
You can paste a large batch at once — a wall of links across multiple sites. Cromoteca processes them sequentially so downloads stay reliable.
Do mixed sites work in one batch?
Yes. A single batch can mix video, audio, and posts from many supported platforms; each is detected and handled in the same queue.
What about content I'm not allowed to download?
Only queue media you own, created, licensed, or are authorized to save. Cromoteca does not circumvent paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
